Creative for Climate Justice

We have chosen to take part in Creative for Climate Justice 2024.

Children can choose to create a piece of artwork to raise awareness of Climate Justice. This art project is a great way to show how we can use our passion and artistic abilities to give a message to those in Government about how we want them to take action to make change.

Our project:

Be as creative as you want!

It could be a drawing, a poem, a decorated cake or cupcakes or a poster made on a computer. It could be a large or small piece of artwork on paper or a sculpture! You choose!

We are holding an art showcase on Friday 20th December from 1pm at the end of the Autumn Term, in the school hall.  We are inviting local councillors, members from Rowlands Castle Parish, parents and carers and local charities such as Petersfield Climate Action Network.

Photos of the artwork will then be submitted to event organisers at Christian Aid who ensure that the showcase photos and messages are presented to Westminster at an exhibition in March 2025.

Through our Christian Values of Courage, Creativity and Respect, we will create a nurturing environment which fosters curiosity and an achievement culture for all. We will pursue high expectations in both pupils’ learning and their personal development within our supportive and friendly environment with a strong community ethos. Through an adaptive and child-centred curriculum, we will meet the needs of each individual to prepare them for their future.
