At Rowlands Castle St John’s, our Geography curriculum holds the intention that pupils will learn to think creatively about the world around them locally, nationally and internationally. We aim for pupils to have an awareness of the diversity of landscapes across the world and how these have developed in the way they have: both naturally and through human influence. Our curriculum is implemented and structured in a way that encourages pupils to develop an understanding in how humans affect the world and to realise their own responsibility and stewardship within this. The impact this strives to achieve is for pupils to develop a sense of identity, understanding, tolerance and curiosity in their own community and in other landscapes and cultures across the world

Due to the current circumstances the INSET day on Friday 29th January will be postponed so key worker children and vulnerable children can come in as usual. The next INSET day arranged for Monday 22nd February will be confirmed at a later date.
