Religous Education

Vision

At Rowlands Castle St John’s, our intent is for our Christian values of Courage, Respect and Creativity, to underpin everything we do.

Within our implementation of religious education, we want children to show respect for the belief of others, have courage to have meaningful discussions about religion and to have the confidence to be creative throughout their learning experiences at this school.

The impact from this will be that each child within our school will leave with an understanding and respect for God’s World and the importance of God in our ever changing society.

Easter Trail - Year 4 taught year R and year 1 all about the Easter story.

Through our Christian Values of Courage, Creativity and Respect, we will create a nurturing environment which fosters curiosity and an achievement culture for all. We will pursue high expectations in both pupils’ learning and their personal development within our supportive and friendly environment with a strong community ethos. Through an adaptive and child-centred curriculum, we will meet the needs of each individual to prepare them for their future.
