Creative for Climate Justice

We chose to take part in Creative for Climate Justice 2024.

At the end of December 2024, we held a showcase in the hall, called Creative for Climate Justice. Children worked hard to create artwork that promotes discussions around climate justice and climate change. Parents/carers and visitors from the Parish, Church, Petersfield Climate Action Network and Emsworth Parish, all came to see the amazing work KS2 children and Help The World Club have created. We submitted photos of the artwork to Christian Aid who created the idea for this project.

Christian Aid have chosen one piece of artwork, from our school, to be sent to London to be used in a Westminster exhibition with MPs and Climate Change advocates and professionals in March. A year 4 child's incredible hand-stitched artwork.

Here are some photos of our amazing showcase in December 2024

Through our Christian Values of Courage, Creativity and Respect, we will create a nurturing environment which fosters curiosity and an achievement culture for all. We will pursue high expectations in both pupils’ learning and their personal development within our supportive and friendly environment with a strong community ethos. Through an adaptive and child-centred curriculum, we will meet the needs of each individual to prepare them for their future.
