Courageous Advocacy

Over the years at St John's, children have been passionate about the glorious, natural world around them.  Children have expressed a love of nature and a desire to help protect it.  We have run gardening clubs, Eco Warrior Clubs and a Help the World Club and children volunteer to use litter pickers to keep the school environment beautiful.  Children benefit from a wonderful forest school experience in school where their understanding, respect and love of nature is further fostered and all children are given different opportunities to achieve.  We are very proud of our children for their commitment to keeping our world a wonderful place.

Through our Christian Values of Courage, Creativity and Respect, we will create a nurturing environment which fosters curiosity and an achievement culture for all. We will pursue high expectations in both pupils’ learning and their personal development within our supportive and friendly environment with a strong community ethos. Through an adaptive and child-centred curriculum, we will meet the needs of each individual to prepare them for their future.
